Screen Writing Master Class
A three-day master class for students of Screen Writing for Film, Video and Television course has taken place. The master class tagged ‘Moving from Script to Screen’ held from April 13 to April 15 2011.

The class, which was aimed at all the students from the various runs of the screenwriting course, offered the participants of the course the opportunity to learn from industry professionals.

Industry players present at the master class include Yinka Ogun, creator of Tinsel (an Mnet TV series production) Madu Chikwendu, the president of the Director’s guild of Nigeria, Kunle Afolayan an award winning filmmaker and Peace Anyiam, the organizer of the African Movie Academy Awards (AMAA).

The class sessions provided students with the practical understanding of the business of screenwriting and to further enhance the Screenwriting Course; the Goldsmiths University of London donated 20 new films to the school.
