Prof. Emevwo Biakolo, the Dean of the School of Media and Communication, has taken part in a one week international workshop for deans and directors of communication faculties. The workshop took place in Pamplona, Spain, on the main campus of the University of Navarra.

Aňuli Agina, a member of the SMC faculty, has won the first prize in the 2010/2011 Annual Film Essay Competition of the Nigerian Film Corporation, NFC. The essay topic was ‘Film: A tool for socio-cultural integration and tourism development.’
