Prof. Emevwo Biakolo, the Dean of the School of Media and Communication, has taken part in a one week international workshop for deans and directors of communication faculties. The workshop took place in Pamplona, Spain, on the main campus of the University of Navarra.

Discussions during the workshop included issues such as the definition of the identity of a faculty of communication, the promotion of research in communication and the adequate preparation of communication lecturers. Among the participants at the workshop were representatives from universities in the Phillippines, Mexico, Rome, Venezuela, Brazil, Guatemala and, of course, Spain.
