|CorelDraw Graphics Suite X5 Workshop|
The CorelDraw Graphics Suite X5 Workshop is designed for those who need an essential understanding and mastery of CorelDraw Graphics Suite for undertaking digital visual communication projects. These include logos, corporate stationary, adverts, brochures, invites, billboards, etc. Experienced users will also benefit from the many new tips and tricks and special exercises.
The course is structured to run as two exclusive levels: Basic and Advanced.
Participants have the option of attending all or any level of their choice.
Level 1 (Basic)
This course level will equip participants with the basic knowledge of CorelDraw Graphics Suite.
By the end of the course, participants will be familiar with the CorelDraw workspace, tools, panels, basic techniques and gain an insight into the techniques of creating and manipulating vector (design) objects, shapes and colour fills. They will also be able to work with artistic text for the creation of logos, labels and any other one page print design material.
Computer literacy: the ability to use a mouse and keyboard; familiarity with common computer software; the ability to open and save files.
Level 2 (Advanced)
This course level will equip participants with advanced knowledge of the fundamentals of CorelDraw. By the end of the course, participants will be able to apply various design effects to page compositions and enhance poster designs. They will also be able to work with paragraph text and produce multi page publications, import and edit bitmaps and work with CorelDraw across other software programmes.
Admission will be based on satisfactory performance at a pre-qualifying test to determine familiarity with CorelDraw tools and basic design techniques.
N40,000 per participant per level
5.30pm – 8.30pm (Mondays and Tuesdays)
Class sizes will be limited to 18 spaces for effective learning
Those that need an effective grounding and essential understanding of the drawing and bitmap editing tools in CorelDRAW Graphics Suite towards developing a career in Desktop publishing.
